Specification for Mobile Degassing Unit

 Belief introduction of the unit

 XPC100B Suspended Spinning Rotor Degassing Unit is used in crucible furnace, to remove the impurities and hydrogen. Normally, two inert gases which are commonly used in the degassing process 99.9% argon and nitrogen.

 After fixing the graphite rotor on the machine, put the graphite rotor into the molten aluminium, then start the machine, the required quantity inert gas will be injected into the molten aluminium, because the graphite rotor rotate with high speed, cutting the aluminium fluid, thus produce tiny inert gas bubble, the bubble will disperse throughout the melt, the inert bubble is of zero partial pressure and the hydrogen is of high partial pressure, so the hydrogen in the melt will come to the inert gas bubble, meanwhile the impurities will stick to the bubble surface, when the bubble come to the melt surface, the impurities will also taken out off to the melt surface. So the hydrogen and the impurities can be removed from the molten aluminium.

 After the degassing process is finished, lift the graphite rotor from the melt and skim the dross out off the furnace.

 The merits of the degassing unit:

 1. Remove gass high efficiency, it can reduce t porosity and dross which bring to waste alloys.

2. The two inert gas is argon and nitrogen for this degassing unit, which reduce the degassing cost dramatically. This unit is environment-friendly, not harmful to the working surroundings.

3.      No corrosion to the crucible furance and ladle.

4.      For the use of the baffle, the aluminium surface is placid, which can reduce the third contamination.

B. One alarm light is attached to the unit, after the degassing process is finished, the alarm light will give a signal.

C. Equiped with frequency conversion speed governor, the output speed can be adjusted 0-600r/m.

D. The unit should be equiped with baffle to make the molten melt placid, reducing the oxide impurities.

F. The unit is equiped with minim adjusting feet which can adjust the unit to a stable and acquired position.
